Arriving by Plane
The two most convenient airports to get to Aachen are Düsseldorf (DUS) and Cologne (CGN). Other options include Brussels Airport (BRU) which provides an excellent rail connection to Aachen via the Thalys.

Aachen Hauptbahnhof is approx. 10 minutes by car from the Institut für Textiltechnik and approx. 20 minutes on foot from the conference location. The Thalys as well as ICE and IC trains connect Aachen to most major European cities (often via Cologne).
